About suffering they were never wrong,

고난에 대해서는 그들-옛 거장들- 은 절대 틀리지 않는다.

 

The Old Masters: how well they understood

Its human position; how it takes place

While someone else is eating or opening a window or just walking dully along;

그들은 얼마나 고난의 인간에 대한 위치를 잘 이해하고 있으며 다른 사람들이 먹거나 문을 열거나 멍청하게 걸어 다닐 때 그들은 그것이 어떻게 발생하는지 알고 있었다.

 

How, when the aged are reverently, passionately waiting

For the miraculous birth, there always must be

Children who did not specially want it to happen, skating
